Mindpower Marketing Part 3 - Putting it into Practice

Step 2: Imbuing Specific Products and Adverts With Your Own Energy

Increase the attraction power of your products and adverts

The previous part of this article discussed the power of general creative visualisation to increase sales. There are two additional techniques I've come across that work along similar lines, and help to further boost the energy and success of your business.

1. For specific products

This is an extremely simple technique that works especially well if you have specific items that you wish to sell. Just spend a few minutes each day holding the item in question, and observing it in a positive, appreciative way. In his excellent book 'The Trick to Money is Having Some', Stuart Wilde recounts the example of a store owner who would periodically walk around his store and briefly touch every item there. He would give special attention to those items which were not selling particularly well, and the inevitable result was that within a few days they would find a buyer.

As Wilde notes, such a process "injects" your energy into the product, and changes it [p116]. I believe this is especially important in the case of those items which have not sold well, because it's easy to begin to regard them negatively, and create a mental image of them as "non-sellers", thus adversely affecting the likelihood that they'll attract a buyer. Giving them some deliberate loving attention helps to reverse this negative 'energy imprint'.

This technique really works - it's a lot of fun to experience a specific product selling shortly after positively intending it to do so!

2. For your ads

A similar process can be used to infuse your ad copy with your own 'energy signature'. In his article 'Energy Marketing: an Unusual New Way to Attract Clients', the respected author and extremely successful internet marketer Dr. Joe Vitale talks about how he perceived the adverts of people who had used this technique as being surrounded by a 'halo' of invisible light. One of these people describes how she would sit and meditate over her ads, deliberately infusing them with her own energy - energy which included the clear intent to sell her product. Her ads attracted plenty of customers and her business thrived.

Conclusion: Emotional Appeal Rules

So, there are two more easy techniques that may help your sales to increase, even without taking much action on an outer level. Such an 'inner' approach makes sense when we remember that people base the majority of their purchasing decisions not on logic, but on emotion. This is especially true of 'luxury' or non-necessary items like jewellery, or other personal products. On a general level, what Abraham calls our "emotional guidance system" constantly sends us clear messages regarding our direction in life. Like the navigation systems in our vehicles, it tells us whether we're on course to rendevous with our desires or not, by sending postive emotion when we're on track, and negative emotion to let us know we're off course. A person who is in tune with their emotional guidance system will know that what feels good, is good, and will continue to seek more of it.

All of this emotion is energy - energy that can (if we allow it) be easily affected by the emotion-energy of those others with whom we share the world. Do your best to imbue your work and your presentation of it with positive, uplifting energy, and others on a similar wavelength will pick up on it. And since people tend to want more of that which makes them feel good - your chances of a making a sale dramatically increase!

BTW - If this type of approach appeals to you, I strongly recommend reading either 'Spiritual Marketing' or 'The Attractor Factor' by Joe Vitale. These books go into using mindpower techniques to attract sales and success in much more detail. 'The Attractor Factor' is an updated version of 'Spiritual Marketing' - I've not yet read it myself, but I have read 'Spiritual Marketing', and found it to be a very interesting and useful book!
