Title: Sara and Seth, Solomon's Fine Featherless Friends
Author: Abraham, Esther Hicks, Jerry Hicks
Publication year(s): 1999
Formats available: Paperback
This is the second book in Abraham-Hicks' fictional trilogy about the adventures of Sara, a young girl living in a mountain town who is befriended by a wise owl named Solomon.
As she goes about her daily life, dealing with the usual issues of childhood, Solomon imparts some very Abraham-like guidance to help Sara more efectively create the reality she desires. In this book, she is joined by Seth, who is a new boy at sara's school. Although she is initially reluctant to introduce him to Solomon, they soon all become close friends, and Solomon helps Seth to deal with his difficult family situation. The book tells the story of Sara and Seth's adventures with Solomon, as well the ups and downs of their daily lives - to which many readers will be sure to relate.
As with the other 'Sara' books, this novel is aimed at children, but will appeal to many adults too. All of the core Abraham teachings - that life should be fun, we control our circumstances with our thoughts and feelings, death is just a transition not an ending, etc - are explored in detail here, and in a way that will appeal to children.
Like the other 'Sara' titles, this is a very engaging, feel-good book, and I strongly recommend it to anyone with children, as well as to anyone who is attracted to the Abraham material generally.
