QuantumBliss takes your privacy seriously, and this page sets out the details of the information that may be collected during your visit to the site, and how it is used.
What type of information is collected by QuantumBliss?
At present, this is limited to the following website tracking data:
The navigational activities of the users of this site are tracked via server administration logs. These logs provide QuantumBliss with information about which pages are being viewed each day, the frequency with which they are visited and the length of the visit(s) to each page. The total visit length of each user is also recorded, including the exact times at which they enter and leave the site. This information enables QuantumBliss to determine which areas of the site are the most popular.
In addition to the above, the server will log the referrer url (i.e. the site from which the visitor came to QuantumBliss, if they followed a link), including details of the search engine(s) and keyword(s) used to locate QuantumBliss (if applicable). Information about each visitor's computer is also collected, and includes statistics about their operating system, the browser used, and monitor screen size. This information helps QuantumBliss to determine the hardware/software setups most popular among visitors, so if necessary we can make modifications to the site in order to ensure it displays and functions appropriately under such conditions.
In addition to the above, QuantumBliss collects demographic information about visitors. This includes the user's IP address. The tracking software used by QuantumBliss to interpret the raw log data matches the IP address to the country, state/region and city in which it is located. This information enables QuantumBliss to determine where visitors are coming from. Please note that we do not have access to your personal details such as name, home address or e-mail address.
All data collected is accessible only to the QuantumBliss site owner, and will never be sold, rented or shared in any other way. All details remain private and confidential, and are for internal use only, unless QuantumBliss is requested to disclose such information under court order, subpoena, or warrant.
QuantumBliss does not set its own cookies to track visitor activity, but cookies are placed by the traffic analytic program we use. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer (in your web browser files). The file does not harm your computer in any way and is only used to track visitor activity while the visitor is on the site - it does not contain any personally identifiable information whatsoever. Cookies generally expire after a certain time, which varies from a few hours to several weeks or more. QuantumBliss does link to third party sites, and does carry third party advertisements, and that these third parties may serve content and/or advertisements, may collect information directly from visitors and may place or recognize cookies on visitors' browsers. QuantumBliss cannot be held responsible for any content on or actions taken by third party sites, and it is recommended that you also read the privacy policies and terms and conditions associated with any site you visit from a link on QuantumBliss. If you do not wish to have cookies on your computer, you may disable them in your browser.
QuantumBliss does not currently engage in e-mail marketing or e-mail correspondence with site visitors, and as such, we do not solicit visitor e-mail addresses or contact visitors by e-mail. If you receive any e-mail that appears to come from the quantumbliss.com domain, it is spam sent by a third party unconnected to QuantumBliss. It is common practice for spammers to fake the sender address to make their spam messages appear to originate from other domains. Spammers have used the quantumbliss.com domain name for this purpose, and unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it. Please be assured that QuantumBliss never sends out unsolicited e-mails of any kind.
Any messages received by QuantumBliss from site visitors will be kept confidential and not shared with any third party or the public unless we are legally required to do so. Any messages with illegal or unethical content, such as threats of violence or computer viruses, may be shared with third parties when required.
To summarise, QuantumBliss only collects such information as is necessary to help us to improve our site. This data does not contain personally identifiable information, is kept confidential unless disclosure is legally required, and is used for internal purposes only.
